HERE WHEN
YOU NEED US
These are unprecedented times and Pink Lemonade Project wants our breast cancer community to know that WE ARE HERE FOR YOU!
Historically, Pink Lemonade Project and its programs served the greater Vancouver-Portland metropolitan area. Now, as Susan G. Komen Oregon & SW Washington closes, we are stepping up to continue two of the affiliate’s locally-grown programs: the Metastatic Breast Cancer Dinner Series and the Treatment Access Program. With these new programs, Pink Lemonade Project is expanding and will maintain Komen’s geographic program area of all 36 counties in Oregon and six in SW Washington. We will also be the new home for the Toni Mountain Fund, a donor-designated fund that raises money to sustain the Treatment Access Program.
We have been fortunate to have many strong financial and community supporters. Thanks to them, our organization remains strong and ready to continue our work during the COVID-19 outbreak. No matter how long this new normal remains, “We got you”!
Pink Lemonade Project wants women and men (YES, men get breast cancer too!) going through breast cancer treatment and recovery to be aware that they have the support of the Pink Lemonade Project community. We want our healthcare partners to know that they can refer their patients to us. We want our large band of Pink Lemonade Project friends (both organizations and individuals) to know that there are still ways to help and provide support to those going through treatment and recovery. Pink Lemonade Project wants to assist, too, by relieving our healthcare system focus on the most critical cases and we will step up to provide community support where we can.
We are here for you.
