Vehicle Donation Program

The Pink Lemonade Project Vehicle Donation Program is more than a way to give up an unused car—it’s a meaningful act of compassion that directly supports individuals and families navigating the challenges of breast cancer. Each donated vehicle becomes a symbol of hope, transforming something once ordinary into vital resources for those who need it most.

Through this program, generosity is turned into tangible care—helping fund education, financial assistance, and emotional support services for patients in our community. It’s a simple yet powerful way to make a difference, allowing donors to contribute to a cause that brings comfort, strength, and dignity to people during one of the most difficult times in their lives.

Every vehicle donated carries a story, and with the Pink Lemonade Project, it becomes part of a larger story—one of resilience, community, and unwavering support. By participating, donors aren’t just giving away a car; they’re helping drive hope forward.

Vehicle donations may include: cars, trucks, SUVs, vans, motorcycles, boats & other watercraft, RVs & campers, ATVs, non-commercial airplanes, snowmobiles, golf carts, motorized wheelchairs, riding-lawn mowers, tractors, and farm equipment!

We accept vehicles in most – but not all – conditions. Vehicles can be either running or non-running.

The process is simple:

• We schedule a pickup of your vehicle
• We mail you your tax deduction information

It takes less 5-minutes to complete your donation online or by phone. Just be sure to know your vehicle’s year, make, model, and where the vehicle is located.

When will my vehicle be picked up?

We will arrange for your vehicle to be picked-up (for free) usually within 1-2 business days at a time that is convenient for you. We always call you 1-hour before to confirm pick-up.

Same-day pickup can sometimes be arranged. Pickup and towing is always free for the donor.

What are the tax benefits of donating my vehicle?

When you donate your vehicle, you may deduct the fair market value up to $500. If your vehicle sells for more than $500, you may deduct the full selling price. After the vehicle is sold, you will receive a letter to be used for tax purposes.
