We are excited to host our first birdwatching and walk on Saturday, October 21st, 9 to 1 am, with Linda Moore, Master Birder (Audubon, Snohomish County WA chapter) and survivor. Linda’s passion is the outdoors and during her treatment and recovery, she turned to nature for healing her body and soul.
We’ll meet at Steigerwald Lake National Wildlife Refuge, 34301 SE Lewis and Clark Highway, Washougal.
The walk welcome PLP members, support persons, and leashed dog companions. Binoculars and bird guidebook or app encouraged for bird identification. There will be a few binoculars and spotting scope to share.
**Participants need to be able to walk outdoors for at least two hours on uneven services. Walk will happen, rain or shine. Be prepared with appropriate outdoor gear.
Meet at the parking lot located on the south side of Index Street and 32nd Street, east of the restrooms.
**Walk maximum is 20 people, so register early!
