Pink Lemonade Project presents a titillating collaboration between She Bop (sex toy boutique) x Dr. Val Correa (Licensed Psychologist & Licensed Marital Family Therapist) on intimacy after breast cancer. We will shift the lack of buzz and the pain of sex after cancer and wetten our responsiveness with helpful information. Also, giving ourselves a positive vibe to invest in pleasure and sexual fulfillment post cancer treatment. Dr. Correa believes our sexual health is life energy and after tackling all the challenges of cancer treatment, our life energy dwindles and we want to spark that life energy back into ourselves and with our partners.
She Bop, founded in 2009 is an adult boutique specializing in non-toxic body-safe toys, exceptional books, and quality sensuality products. But we are more than a toy store — we are committed to sexual education and conscious business practices while also offering a comfortable and sex-positive environment.
Dr. Valerie Correa is a Clinical Psychologist in Oregon and Washington State. Additionally, she is licensed in Washington as a Licensed Marital & Family Therapist. She is the founder and clinical director of the 501c3 nonprofit Sunrise Daisy Retreat. This non profit’s mission is reducing PTSD, anxiety and depression of cancer survivors post treatment. She has had a private practice since 2002. She has taught graduate courses as a professor at five local Universities. Dr. Correa is a cancer survivor herself of Acute Myeloid Leukemia, Leukemia Cutis as well as a two time stem cell transplant survivor. She is thankful to provide support to cancer patients and support the greater cancer community about their psychological needs.
